11 years delivering web, mobile, and desktop apps has allowed me to take

17 products from ideation to delivery and iterate on dozens more. I've worked with scrappy start-ups and with some of the most mature innovation teams in the world, including those at Google, Uber, and Adidas. Learn more about working with me:

Working with me

Her knowledge and expertise in user research, behavioral psychology in the digital space, and her ability to interpret and make recommendations upon experimentation data brought huge advantages to our entire team and the clients we worked on together.

Supervisor at Accenture

Jenni Bruckman

She is analytical, creative, detail oriented, and professional... She has consistently performed above expectations [and] has made a measurable impact on the organizations where we’ve been able to team up.

Her friendly professionalism makes her easy to work with and trusted to be customer and solution focused. She will certainly make a positive impact for your organization.

Supervisor at Karst Technology and Collaborative Media Group

Julian Karst

I cannot speak highly enough about Jackie’s discovery skills. Her deep empathy and data-driven approach were so impressive that I asked her to teach my subsequent classes on user personas. I readily admit she is vastly superior at teaching students how to understand the motivations behind people's choices and behaviors.

Professor of Product Management

Dan Corbin

I strongly recommend Jackie for any organization whose goal is to create useful, intuitive solutions. As well as she understands software functionalities on their own, she easily relates them all to the larger goal of a beneficial, attractive end-user experience.

And, crucially for motivating others to tackle big challenges or just enjoy being at work, Jackie has a great sense of humor and is fun to be around.

Coworker at iMDsoft

About

About

Background

I started building websites in 1997 on Geocities, the site that launched a thousand software careers. I took a brief detour into academic philosophy, then began working in tech in 2009. Since then, I've taken on progressively more strategic and interesting roles, with a few breaks here and there to pursue my own companies or projects, or take on further education.

Now, I'm in the Netherlands pursuing my lifelong dream of living somewhere with reasonable government and social systems. I'm hoping to make this my permanent home and have already started learning Dutch.

Interests

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time outdoors. I have two 150km+ bike races this year (one in Iceland and one in Finland), and will be running the Amsterdam Marathon in October.

I also hike when mountains are available, and like to take photos while I do. You can see some of them on my Instagram, @dogparables
